Based in Mangalore, our mission is to design and manufacture purpose-built electric vehicles that are safe, reliable, and affordable. With our modular EV platform, lightweight materials, and innovative micro factory approach, we’re making clean transportation accessible for everyone—from ride-hailing to cargo delivery and beyond.
A brief history
Singularity Automobiles was founded in 2022 by a team of passionate engineers from Mangalore who shared a simple but powerful vision: to build electric vehicles that actually make sense for India. Frustrated by unsafe, outdated, and overpriced mobility options, we began developing a modular EV platform from scratch-lightweight, scalable, and cost-effective.
With early recognition from the Elevate Karnataka program, government grants, and initial angel funding, we achieved rapid progress. By 2024, we had completed a PoC version our platform prototype
What started as an idea to fix everyday transport has now become a mission to revolutionize mobility for millions.

Where we are today
Today, Singularity Automobiles stands at the edge of a major leap forward. We’ve successfully developed a fully functional rolling prototype of our modular EV platform — featuring a bonded aluminium chassis, in-house double wishbone suspension, and integrated powertrain.
